Glogster project about the book of 1984

I liked this project, I prepared a poster for the Party on my own. I enjoyed it because it is easy and you can create something as you want. I will use glogster in the future, I am sure my students will like it.

TimBurton and Alice in Wonderland

    I listened the interview about  director Tim Burton and his latest film Alice in Wonderland. The interviewer is Kirsty Lang. The interview starts with the music of the film then, she begins to talk with an introduction about what she will talk. after that a small part of the film is released. She goes on introducing characters, Johnny Deep- Mad Hatter, Mia Wasikowska- Alice Kingsleigh, Anne Hathaway- the White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter- The Red Queen.She goes on her speech with ' the story takes place when Alice is 19 years old and she is proposed marriage by a nobleman she does not love. she runs away instead of accepting the propose and falls a rabbit hole.' Another scene from the film is released. She mentions about Tim Burton's other  popular films such as Charlie and Chocolate Factory, Batman. The first question is about the film as a project. Tim Burton answers that he likes the context of the film, it is a dreamworld but Alice deals with real problems. he mentions also other versions of the film. The next question is about inspirations in the film. Tim Burton laughs and answers this ' there are five or six examples in the film, of course it can be.' Kirsty Lang says for example ' putting fingers into bowl'. They laugh together after that. Other question is about Johnny Deep. It is seventh film made both of them ,Johnny Deep and Tim Burton. She asks ' what does he bring to film as a special?' Tim Burton tells his thoughts about Johnny Deep and adds he enjoys working with him, they work together also in the process of the film. He also says for Johnny Deep the way he looks is important and he can be every character. Other question is about Alice and using her childhood in the film. He says ' every child can be happy or sorry, In this film Alice thinks she dreams but she sees events occuring in her childhood but she has forgetten them. Some people thinks it is tragedy but it is kind of beautiful tragedy. We has used her childhood because everybody wonders about her childhood, the first ten minutes of the film Alice is child.' Last question is about DVDof the film, he says he is happy with it. Kirsty Lang finishes the interview saying the date of the releasing of the film, 5  May on Friday 2010.
    This interview is both serious and enjoyable. It is done in positive atmosphere. Questions and answers are good.I think whatever can be said, this interview includes. I would like to ask questions such as ' which character do you want to be in the film and what are your reasons to go to this film as an audience.'



I watched this film for the project. I liked it very much. I listened the interview again and again but I missed some parts because I did not understand, they speak fast for me but I enjoyed this project.

our fable about prejudices

 


Friendship of a dog for cats

  Pamuk and Şeker are cats which live in the same apartment. They are close friends and get along with each other very well. One day Şeker meets a dog whose name is Köpük. Köpük is homeless and so big that other dogs in the same neighbourhood are afraid of it. Şeker likes Köpük and thinks he cannot hurt her. When Şeker comes back the apartment, she tells everything about Köpük to Pamuk. She says “it is very sweet dog. You must meet him. You will like Köpük “but Pamuk says “ It is incredible. You cannot be friend with a dog. Are you kidding?” Despite everything said by Şeker, Pamuk does not change her mind.

   As days pass, Köpük and Şeker become very close friend but Pamuk still thinks it is wrong. One day, Pamuk wants to go to park for walking. While Pamuk is walking in the street, she sees a lot of dogs coming to her. She becomes scared. When they get close, suddenly Köpük arrives. They run away immediately. Pamuk cannot believe what has happened. Köpük has saved her life. Now, she is sure Köpük is not bad dog. They come back the apartment together and from that time Pamuk, Şeker and Köpük become friend.

We should not behave according to our prejudices.

This is fable created by me and one of my friend Filiz Aydemir. this is also my first fable. It is about prejudices. they effect our life negatively and we should not behave according to them. We used our creativity to creat a fable. It did not take so long time.we selected diffirent animals in their natures. Actually, it was enjoyable process for me. I had no difficulty in creating  a fable. It was a good experience. I liked it.

I selected this topic because I read a book about Alzheimer and effected very much. This is very bad  brain disease. In this disease , the brain loses its functions day by day and you become very different person who can not recognize people around you including  your children
